All documents have to be in German, English or Danish. Translated documents have to be legally validated by an accredited translator in your country of origin or a sworn translator in Germany. The ceremony will be in one of the languages stated above; for other languages you will need to hire an interpreter.

Some civil registries in Denmark also require a notarized certificate of single status / sword affidavit of non impediment to marriage (incl. Apostille)

Only persons with a german residence certificate will get a residence permit at the citizen center.

To arrange a wedding date in Denmark, we need copies of all your documents.  However you will have to show the originals at the civil registry office on the day of the wedding or the day before. In case of a previous divorce, we need the ORIGINAL divorce document (or your partner´s). Of course you will get it back when the wedding date is set or directly after the ceremony.

Important! We necessitate color copies from all the used pages of your passports, except for blank pages. and of the valid visa. Besides we require a form (one page) filled from the two partners. To view the PDF- file you will need Adobe Reader (download link).

If you don´t require a Visa for Germany then we will need the entry stamps from your passport.

Send all copies of the documents to our postal address or scan the information and send it to our e-mail. We also require a signed original declaration of marriage (four pages, in German) or in English.

Important!

If you do not provide all required information or give false or inaccurate information your application may be rejected.  In this case we have fulfilled our task because you are legally responsible for the accuracy of the information. In case you want to send your documents one more time we charge an additional service fee of 80,-€.

You can also choose the date of your wedding, but please remember that we need about 1 to 4 weeks for the paperwork. We cannot guarantee that your chosen date is available.

The fees paid to our agency will not be refunded if after all the paperwork is completed (all required documents have been received) and the wedding date has been arranged, you decide not to show up.
